Leading national law firm is expanding its Sacramento corporate team and seeks a partner to develop and lead M&A, capital markets and technology-transaction work. The role will handle complex domestic deals and issuer-side capital markets matters, and collaborate with IP litigation and technology teams across offices.

The group is growing and looks for a partner with an established transactional practice who can originate and manage client engagements, mentor junior lawyers, and work closely with colleagues in other U.S. offices. Portable business and the ability to build practice lines in life sciences, technology, financial services or energy-related transactions are valued.

Partner-level transactional experience in M&A and/or capital markets, with additional experience in technology transactions preferred
Demonstrated originations and client-management skills; portable book of business beneficial
Track record of leading deals and supervising associates
Strong drafting, negotiation and strategic commercial judgment
Bar admission and ability to work in the Sacramento office
