Leading global law firm is seeking an experienced partner to grow and lead a corporate practice in the Sacramento office. The role will focus on M&A, capital markets (issuer-side and related work), emerging growth and technology transactions, with regular collaboration on intellectual property litigation and transactional matters.

The successful candidate will join a cross-practice team that serves life sciences, technology, financial services and energy clients. This is a visible role with significant client contact, business-development expectations and opportunities to work with national and international colleagues.

Proven partner-level experience in M&A, capital markets and technology transactions; experience with emerging growth/startup matters a plus.
Track record handling or collaborating on IP litigation and IP-related transactional work.
Strong business-development skills; a portable practice or demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships is beneficial.
Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and ability to practice in Sacramento.
