Leading national employment practice seeks a lateral partner to join its Boston office to grow and advise on employee benefits and ESOP matters as part of a broader labor & employment platform. The role combines client advisory, transactional work and counseling across benefit plan types.

The team works with employers of varied sizes; the role will involve developing and managing client relationships, mentoring junior lawyers, and coordinating with colleagues across offices on cross-border or multi-jurisdictional matters.

Open to candidates with an existing portable practice or the ability to develop new business in the employee benefits/ESOP space. Competitive platform, resources, and institutional support are available to scale a partner-level practice.

  • Experienced partner-level employment & labor lawyer with a focus on employee benefits and ESOPs
  • Proven track record of advising employers on benefit plan design, compliance, and transactional work
  • Demonstrated business development skills and willingness to grow a portable or new book of business
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability; collaborative approach to cross-office work
