Senior hire for a national employment & labor team, based in Chicago. The role will lead and grow employee benefits work, with a particular emphasis on ESOP matters alongside other benefit plan work.

The office seeks a partner with an established practice who can advise ERISA and benefits clients, develop business, and collaborate with national colleagues on complex multijurisdictional matters.

  • Established partner-level experience in employee benefits and ERISA matters, including ESOPs.
  • Proven ability to originate and develop client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development capability preferred.
  • Strong technical drafting and counseling skills on qualified plans and related benefits matters.
  • Bar admission and standing to practice in the relevant jurisdiction; willingness to work on cross-office matters.
