Leading international law firm is seeking an experienced partner to lead and expand its life/insurance practice within the insurance and finance teams. The role will involve advising insurers and financial institutions on transactional, regulatory and commercial matters across multiple jurisdictions in the US and UK.

The successful candidate will take a visible leadership role in a cross-border practice, working on a mix of regulatory, corporate and product-related matters and collaborating with teams in several offices. This is a partner hire aimed at candidates with an established, portable practice and strong client relationships in the life insurance sector.

Established partner-level experience in insurance (preferably life insurance) and related finance matters
Proven track record of originating and handling cross-border mandates and working with multi-office teams
Portable book of business and strong, demonstrable client relationships
Excellent commercial judgment and ability to develop business within an international platform
