Lateral Partner — Intellectual Property & Media and Entertainment, Los Angeles

Seeking a partner to lead and grow an Intellectual Property and Media & Entertainment practice in the firm’s Los Angeles office. The role focuses on IP matters for advertising, marketing and digital media clients across counseling, transactional and contentious work.

The successful candidate will join a broad IP team, work closely with cross-practice colleagues, and help develop client relationships in the media, advertising and digital sectors. Portable business and an ability to originate and nurture client opportunities are welcome.

• Established partner-level experience handling IP and media/advertising matters (counseling, transactions and/or litigation).
• Proven business development record or demonstrated ability to originate client work.
• Experience leading or mentoring teams and working collaboratively with other practice groups.
• Bar admission in California or eligibility to be admitted; excellent client-facing and communication skills.
