Lateral Partner, Intellectual Property — New York

Leading national law firm seeks a lateral partner to join its New York Intellectual Property team. The role focuses on advising and litigating patent and trademark matters, and counseling clients on enforcement and brand-protection strategies.

We are looking for an experienced partner who can lead complex IP disputes and client relationships. The team handles a broad mix of counseling and contentious work; note that the role does not focus on large streaming-platform matters.

Candidates with a portable practice and demonstrable client development ability are encouraged to apply.

• Established partner with substantial experience in patent and trademark matters, including IP litigation.
• Proven ability to originate and manage client work and to grow a portable practice.
• Strong litigation skills; experience leading teams and trials or major contested matters preferred.
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and eligibility to practice in New York.
