Leading media & technology-focused law firm is seeking a lateral partner to join its video game and interactive entertainment practice in the New York office. The role will advise game developers, publishers and platform providers on commercial, licensing and distribution matters across digital, mobile and console products.

The partner will lead and grow a commercial technology practice, handling IP-driven transactions, publishing and platform agreements, monetization and content licensing. This is a business-development oriented role with significant client-facing responsibility and practice leadership expectations.

Lateral Partner with an established practice advising video-game, interactive entertainment or digital media clients.
Substantial experience on technology/entertainment transactions: licensing, publishing, distribution, platform and commercial agreements.
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; a portable practice/book of business is highly desirable.
Bar admission in the U.S.; excellent drafting, negotiation and client-management skills.
