Established New York office seeks a lateral partner to join a busy media & entertainment practice. The role will involve leading client engagements across content, licensing, and distribution matters and advising creative and corporate clients on strategic IP and commercial issues.

This is a hands-on partner role with responsibility for originating and managing work, supervising junior lawyers, and collaborating across practices. The team advises on transactional and dispute-related matters in the entertainment and media sectors.

Candidates should be comfortable building and running a portable practice and working closely with existing partners to grow business in the New York market.

Proven partner-level experience in media & entertainment law (transactions and/or disputes)
Track record of originating and managing client matters and supervising teams
Portable book of business and demonstrable client relationships
Admission to the New York bar (or ability to obtain)
