The role focuses on leading complex intellectual-property disputes across federal courts and administrative forums, handling all phases from pre-suit counseling through trial and appeal.
The successful candidate will run and grow a portable litigation practice, manage client relationships, and work closely with cross-practice teams on technology and IP-related matters. This is a front-facing role with significant business-development and team-lead responsibilities.
The group offers national platform support and collaborative resources to amplify your practice and to mentor associates and junior lawyers.
- Established partner-level IP litigation experience (patent, trademark, or related technologies) with trial and appellate exposure
- Proven client-management and business-development capabilities; must be able to bring a portable practice
- Bar admission in D.C. (or willingness to obtain) and ability to practice in federal courts
- Track record of supervising teams and mentoring associates
