Lateral Partner — Tax & Energy, Washington, D.C.

Seeking a lateral partner to join a well-established tax practice with a focus on energy matters. The role will advise clients on tax structuring, regulatory tax issues, and transactional tax aspects across the energy sector.

The successful candidate will take a leadership role within the team, working on complex domestic and cross-border matters and helping grow the practice in the Washington, D.C. market. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded law firm with significant national energy work.

• Proven partner-level experience advising on tax matters for energy clients (including transactional and regulatory tax work).
• Demonstrable leadership and ability to manage and mentor junior lawyers.
• Established client relationships and a track record of business development; portable practice preferred.
• Advanced tax credentials (JD and/or LLM in Tax or equivalent) and good standing with relevant bars.
