Established German firm seeking a partner to lead and expand its Technology, Media & Entertainment and Intellectual Property practice in the Cologne office. The role offers responsibility for originating and managing client engagements across TMT and IP matters, working with an experienced team on cross-border and domestic mandates.

The firm is looking for a commercially minded lawyer able to develop business, mentor junior lawyers, and strengthen client relationships. A portable practice is welcome; the team is flexible on the size of any book of business and will consider strong candidates with demonstrable client origination and sector expertise.

Proven partner-level experience in TMT, media or IP matters, with a demonstrable track record of originating and managing commercial work
Admission to practise in Germany (or equivalent) and substantial experience in the German market
Established client relationships or a portable practice; ability to drive business development
Fluent English and German; excellent client-facing and team leadership skills
