Partner — Corporate / M&A, Cologne

Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow a corporate practice in the Cologne office with a focus on M&A, corporate governance and complex transactional matters. The role combines client-facing deal work with team leadership and business development.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for originating and managing transactions, mentoring associates and developing the practice area. A portable practice or demonstrable client relationships are desirable.

• Established partner-level M&A/corporate experience in Germany (track record of leading mid-to-large transactions).
• Proven client origination and relationship management skills; portable practice preferred.
• Experience supervising teams and advising on corporate governance and transactional matters.
• Fluent German and strong English; admitted to practise in the relevant German jurisdiction.
