Leading German firm seeks a lateral partner to strengthen its restructuring/insolvency and corporate advisory capability in the Cologne office. The role combines mandates across insolvency-driven restructurings and corporate transactions, advising creditors, debtors and stakeholders on complex reorganisations.

The successful candidate will take a senior leadership role within the team, collaborating on cross-practice matters and helping to develop business across the region. A portable practice and demonstrable client relationships are welcomed.

Established partner-level experience in restructuring/insolvency and corporate law.
Proven track record advising on complex restructurings, insolvency proceedings or distressed M&A.
Demonstrable business development skills; a portable practice is welcome.
Admission to practice in Germany (or equivalent) and fluency in German and English.
Leadership and team-management experience, with the ability to work across practice groups.
