The team specializes in complex liability, insurance, and regulatory matters, advising a diverse client base that includes insurers, corporate self-insurers, government entities, and private clients. The work spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, including insurance disputes and compliance issues.
The role involves managing a caseload of insurance litigation, primarily in NSW courts, and providing strategic advice on regulatory and contractual matters. You will work closely with senior practitioners, appear as a solicitor advocate where appropriate, and brief counsel on complex disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 1–4 years' PQE to develop depth in the insurance and dispute resolution space within a supportive, high-performing team.

- 1–4 years' post-qualification experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to insurance or complex liability matters
- Strong technical legal and drafting skills
- Experience appearing as a solicitor advocate and briefing counsel is an advantage
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload and work collaboratively
- Resilience, attention to detail, and a commitment to client service
- Familiarity with AI tools or a willingness to adopt new technology
