Lawyer — Technology & Intellectual Property, Brisbane

Join a national Technology, Media & Intellectual Property team that is expanding. This role is based in the Brisbane office and offers exposure to a mix of IP, technology and media matters across commercial, transactional and advisory workstreams.

Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on IP strategy and licences, drafting and negotiating technology and media agreements, supporting prosecution and enforcement matters, and working collaboratively with a national team on cross-jurisdictional matters.

• Admission to practice in Australia.
• Practical experience in intellectual property, technology or media law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commercial and technology agreements.
• Client-facing experience with commercial awareness and effective communication skills.
