6‑month, full‑time (hybrid) legal consultant role supporting a major financial services organisation in Sydney. The position is delivered through a flexible legal resourcing platform and will involve day‑to‑day support of institutional and relationship banking businesses.

Work will focus on structuring, drafting, negotiating and executing a broad range of lending and financing transactions, and providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal and regulatory advice to business stakeholders across credit, risk and product teams.

Minimum 5 years' post‑qualification experience in banking & finance (private practice or in‑house)
Strong experience drafting, negotiating and executing lending and financing documentation
Sound knowledge of Australian banking and financial services regulatory framework (eg Corporations Act, Banking Code, unfair contract terms, related requirements)
Proven stakeholder and transaction management skills; ability to drive matters to close under tight timelines
Current Australian practising certificate and right to work in Australia
