Senior Associate, Banking & Finance — Sydney

Senior Associate opportunity within a growing Banking & Finance team based in Sydney. The role involves advising domestic and international banks, non‑bank lenders and corporate borrowers on syndicated and bilateral lending, asset finance and structured finance transactions.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating loan documentation, conducting legal due diligence, project managing transactions and mentoring junior lawyers. Strong exposure to commercial banking matters and close client contact is expected, with clear progression opportunities for lawyers who demonstrate technical excellence and business development capability.

• Admitted in Australia (or eligible for admission)
• Proven banking & finance transactional experience at senior associate level
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills (loan agreements, security documents)
• Ability to manage deal workflow and supervise junior team members
