Short-term interim consultant roles (typically six months, full time) supporting regulatory, compliance and ethics work across the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai). Assignments are delivered through a global legal consultancy platform and may offer flexible working arrangements.

Engagements include designing and enhancing AML and sanctions controls, leading complex internal investigations, advising on prudential and conduct requirements, and building operational compliance programmes (codes of conduct, third‑party and M&A due diligence, whistleblowing frameworks).

Candidates will work with senior stakeholders and boards, deliver training and compliance monitoring, and support remediation and regulatory engagement across local and cross‑border regimes.

Minimum 7+ years post‑qualification experience in compliance, regulatory or ethics roles
Proven expertise in AML, sanctions compliance, internal investigations and compliance programme design
Experience across Financial Services, Industrial/Energy or Healthcare clients preferred
Familiarity with UAE/GCC regulatory frameworks and Arabic language skills advantageous
Practising certificate (or equivalent) valid for the region; experience working in or with top‑tier law firms or in‑house compliance teams
Consultancy mindset: adaptable, client‑facing, able to own projects and work independently on interim assignments
