Short-term consultant roles for construction and infrastructure lawyers with 5–7 years' post-qualification experience. Assignments are typically based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai), commonly six months full-time, with occasional longer or flexible arrangements.

Work will focus on front‑end, non-contentious construction matters across large projects (power, infrastructure, buildings, leisure), including drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, O&M and FM agreements, and advising on contractor, subcontractor and design professional issues.

Appointments are offered via a global legal consulting platform that places experienced practitioners either within client teams or supporting a major international practice group. Consultants receive dedicated administrative and knowledge support while retaining responsibility for their own professional development.

5–7 years' post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious construction and infrastructure law.
Proven experience drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts; O&M/FM contract experience preferred.
Background at a top‑tier law firm for projects/infrastructure work; recent in‑house experience in energy, transport or infrastructure advantageous.
Experience in the Middle East and Arabic language skills preferred.
Consultant mindset: flexible, commercially minded, able to work autonomously and manage client relationships; valid practising certificate or equivalent for the region.
