Apply in confidence →Short-term consultant roles for construction and infrastructure lawyers with 5–7 years' post-qualification experience. Assignments are typically based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi or Dubai), commonly six months full-time, with occasional longer or flexible arrangements.
Work will focus on front‑end, non-contentious construction matters across large projects (power, infrastructure, buildings, leisure), including drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts, O&M and FM agreements, and advising on contractor, subcontractor and design professional issues.
Appointments are offered via a global legal consulting platform that places experienced practitioners either within client teams or supporting a major international practice group. Consultants receive dedicated administrative and knowledge support while retaining responsibility for their own professional development.
- 5–7 years' post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious construction and infrastructure law.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts; O&M/FM contract experience preferred.
- Background at a top‑tier law firm for projects/infrastructure work; recent in‑house experience in energy, transport or infrastructure advantageous.
- Experience in the Middle East and Arabic language skills preferred.
- Consultant mindset: flexible, commercially minded, able to work autonomously and manage client relationships; valid practising certificate or equivalent for the region.
