A global legal consultancy platform is seeking experienced derivatives lawyers for interim assignments across the United Arab Emirates (typically Abu Dhabi or Dubai). Roles are full-time, project-based engagements (commonly around six months) advising financial institutions and asset managers on complex derivatives and structured products.

Work will cover OTC and exchange-traded derivatives across multiple asset classes, negotiating and drafting ISDA/CSA and related documentation, and providing commercial advice to front-office, risk and fund teams. Assignments may include regulatory work under UAE frameworks and cross-jurisdictional matters.

Approximately 6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in derivatives or structured products.
Common-law legal qualification (admission in a relevant jurisdiction).
Proven experience negotiating and drafting ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs and related derivatives documentation.
Familiarity with derivatives regulatory regimes (experience with UAE regulatory frameworks and/or EMIR advantageous).
Ability to be based in or work from Abu Dhabi or Dubai for the contract duration; Arabic language skills desirable but not essential.
