Experienced funds lawyer sought to join a global legal consulting platform delivering mid‑to‑longer term assignments across funds and asset management. Projects include fund formation and lifecycle work, negotiating investment management agreements, supporting UCITS and alternative fund structures, and providing regulatory and transactional support for asset managers and banks.

This role offers flexibility to choose assignments across the UK market, access to firm-level knowledge resources and training, and day‑to‑day support while working as a self‑directed consultant. Candidates must be comfortable with a consulting model (assignment-based work), able to transition quickly into new teams and committed to delivering high‑quality client service.

4–8 years post‑qualification experience, specialising in funds and asset/ investment management
Proven experience in fund formation, fund documentation (including IMAs), and ongoing fund maintenance; exposure to UCITS, alternatives and common offshore structures (e.g. Cayman/Luxembourg) advantageous
Prior top‑tier law firm or strong in‑house experience in financial services or asset management
Strong commercial judgment, project management skills, excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work autonomously on client assignments
Valid practising certificate (or equivalent) to practise in the UK and right to reside/work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
