Short-term (interim/contract) role for an experienced TMT lawyer to support technology and telecoms matters across the UAE, with typical assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Assignments are commonly 3–6 months (six months is typical) and may be full‑time or offer flexible working arrangements.

The role will involve advising on data protection and cybersecurity, digital transformation, cloud and enterprise software projects, e‑commerce and related regulatory compliance for major telecoms and technology organisations and vendors. Expect day‑to‑day drafting and commercial advice, stakeholder engagement and ensuring business compliance with applicable law.

Successful candidates will join a consultant programme that provides assignment matching, professional support and access to training and development resources while working on client-facing matters across the region.

Minimum 7 years' post‑qualification experience in TMT work (law firm or in‑house).
Practical experience advising on data protection, cybersecurity, cloud/enterprise software or telecoms matters.
Comfortable working on short/medium‑term contract assignments and managing own delivery on client engagements.
Preferable: recent in‑house experience in the tech/telecoms sector, previous Middle East experience and Arabic language skills.
Valid practising certificate or equivalent entitlement to practise in the UAE/region.
