Senior lawyer role in a global insurance/reinsurance team based in Singapore, advising on complex financial‑lines coverage (D&O, professional indemnity, crime/BBB, W&I, POSI, IMI, cyber) and handling cross‑jurisdictional disputes and arbitrations. The role includes managing subrogation recoveries and, where required, supporting cyber incident response.

Client work is primarily with insurers, reinsurers and syndicates across the APAC and London markets. The position is client‑facing, requires significant business development activity and regular international engagement, including travel across APAC, EMEA and the US.

The role includes mentoring and training junior lawyers, presenting and publishing thought leadership, and collaborating closely with regional and global colleagues to support integrated, cross‑jurisdictional matters.

Minimum 10 years' law firm experience (or equivalent senior insurance practice experience)
Qualified in a common law jurisdiction (e.g. England & Wales or Australia); dual admission in Singapore desirable
Substantial experience in financial lines insurance coverage and professional indemnity; experience with cyber claims preferred
Experience with international arbitration and cross‑border disputes; strong client relationships in APAC and/or London insurance markets
Proven business development, presentation and thought‑leadership capabilities; experience mentoring junior lawyers
Ability and willingness to undertake international travel
