Legal Document Reviewer — Insurance (Calgary)

Contract, fully remote role within an insurance litigation team, focused on large-scale document review and analysis. The assignment is fee-earner work expected to run for approximately six months, with regular virtual team meetings.

Responsibilities include reviewing and extracting key documents and emails, drafting short memoranda, supporting preparation for witness questioning and expert retention, contributing to case strategy, and assisting with hearing preparation.

  • Degree in civil law from a recognized university
  • Member in good standing of the Alberta Bar
  • 1–5 years' relevant litigation experience
  • Strong judgment, legal reasoning, attention to detail and diligence
  • Experience with Relativity, Nextpoint or similar document-review platforms an asset
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate in a virtual team
