An established global finance practice is seeking associates to join its Leveraged Finance team. The role focuses on acquisition financings, refinancings, dividend recaps, liability management and restructuring-related financings across sponsor-backed and direct-lending transactions.

Openings are available in multiple U.S. offices (Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles/Century City and New York). Associates will draft and negotiate transaction documents and play a lead role on financings for borrower and lead-arranger clients. Candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in the state of the office to which they apply.

The role offers bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package; the advertised target salary range for this position is $310,000 - $445,000 (varies by location and candidate factors).

Minimum 3 years PQE in syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending
Experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers on leveraged/sponsor financings; strong sponsor/LBO finance experience preferred
Proven drafting and negotiation skills on financing documentation
Admission or eligibility for admission to the state bar of the hiring office
