Mid-level associate role on a life sciences-focused IP team in Boston. The position centers on licensing, technology transfer and technology-transaction work supporting life sciences clients.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating IP and technology agreements, supporting M&A and other corporate transactions with IP/tech due diligence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on strategic alliances, joint development and distribution arrangements.

The team seeks candidates who can manage significant components of deals independently while working well in collaborative, cross-practice matter teams.

3-4 years post-qualification experience in IP licensing/technology transactions, preferably with life sciences or biotech matters
Experience drafting and negotiating patent/trademark licenses, collaboration/joint development agreements, technology/service agreements (including SaaS) and distribution agreements
Experience performing intellectual property and technology-transaction due diligence for corporate transactions
Strong writing and oral advocacy skills; ability to manage substantial deal components independently and work effectively in teams
Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
