Apply in confidence →Top-tier US law firm is seeking an associate to join a nationally recognized Life Sciences Partnering & Licensing practice. The role supports structuring, negotiating and drafting commercial agreements such as licenses and collaborations for life sciences clients.
The position is open to candidates for placement in the firm's Boston, Palo Alto or San Diego offices. Work will involve frequent cross-functional collaboration with corporate and technical teams and may include matters for both emerging and established life sciences companies.
The team welcomes candidates with law firm or in-house experience; corporate or patent background and/or a technical degree are viewed positively. The firm offers comprehensive benefits and parental support programs.
- 3-6 years' relevant post-qualification experience
- Experience drafting and negotiating licenses, collaboration and commercial agreements for life sciences clients
- Strong drafting, negotiation and project-management skills
- Corporate or patent experience and/or a scientific/technical degree is a plus
