Litigation Associate — Albany

Growing litigation team in Albany seeks a junior-to-mid-level associate to handle a broad civil litigation docket. The role involves representation of public- and private-sector clients on matters touching public policy, health care, environmental and energy issues, economic development, government procurement, gaming, insurance and First Amendment questions, with frequent interaction with government agencies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research and analysis, drafting briefs and motions, managing discovery, assisting with and taking/defending depositions, and appearing in state and federal courts. The team offers exposure to complex, high-profile matters and collaborative work across practice groups.

• 2–5 years of litigation experience (junior to mid-level)
• Admission and good standing with the New York bar
• Strong academic credentials, legal research and writing skills
• Experience drafting briefs, managing discovery, and handling depositions; courtroom experience preferred
• Federal clerkship a plus
