Litigation Associate — Casualty & Corporate Claims, Birmingham

Experienced litigation associate (2-5 PQE) opportunity within a national casualty and corporate claims team based in Birmingham. The role focuses on defending employers' and public liability matters and mixed-value personal injury claims, handling both pre‑litigation and litigated work.

The team acts for insurers, corporates and loss adjusters on multi-defendant, construction, product liability and defective premises cases. The role is hybrid and involves collaborating with an established group that uses streamlined processes and technology to deliver pragmatic defence solutions.

• 2-5 years' PQE as a UK‑qualified solicitor or CILEX with relevant defence litigation experience
• Experience on multi-track defence matters (employers' and public liability desirable)
• Basic understanding of policy coverage and insurance matters
• Strong analytical, drafting and client-care skills; able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively in a team
