M&A Associate — Technology Companies, New York

Seeking a mid-level associate to join a technology companies M&A practice in New York. The role focuses on representing early- and late-stage technology companies and active venture capital investor clients on mergers, acquisitions and related transactional matters.

Ideal candidates will have experience working on deal teams and managing discrete components of transactions, be proactive with strong commercial judgment, and be comfortable managing relationships with clients and outside counsel. Excellent drafting, communication skills and collaborative instincts are essential.

Candidates should have outstanding academic credentials and prior experience at a comparable firm. California bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) is required.

• Experience working on deal teams and managing portions of transactions independently
• Experience representing venture capital investors and/or emerging growth companies preferred
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client-management skills
