Managing Associate — Employment & Labor — London

Senior employment lawyer role within a top-ranked national employment team. The post will focus entirely on employment work across contentious and non-contentious matters, with a mix of tribunal litigation, advisory projects and some High Court work under supervision.

The role involves running own matters, assisting and working alongside senior colleagues, supervising junior associates and trainees, and taking direct client contact and relationship-management responsibilities. There is scope to lead on significant projects and to contribute to business development activity.

The team handles the full spectrum of UK and international employment law issues, including collective bargaining and industrial action, discrimination and contentious tribunal claims, TUPE and transactional employment support.

• Qualified solicitor with c.8+ years' post-qualification experience in employment law.
• Proven experience of employment tribunal and advisory work, with exposure to high-court matters and collective/union issues desirable.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing case teams; comfortable with client relationship management.
• Commercial approach to client service and willingness to engage in business development.
• Proficient with Office 365 and common law-firm tools; time recording and document management experience preferred.
