Apply in confidence →Senior employment lawyer opportunity for a managing associate to join a busy Employment & Immigration group, with roles available in Leeds or Manchester. The role covers a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work across a broad client base.
This is a hybrid role (minimum office attendance expected) with occasional travel between UK offices. You will handle tribunal litigation, business-protection matters and major HR projects, and will be exposed to high-quality, high-profile client work.
The role offers responsibility for developing client relationships, supervising junior colleagues and contributing to team development, with access to formal training, mentoring and leadership programmes.
- Approximately 5+ years post-qualification employment law experience (contentious and non-contentious)
- Proven experience handling tribunal litigation, redundancy/restructuring or other complex HR projects
- Client-focused with strong drafting, advocacy and advisory skills
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members and to develop client relationships
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model and to travel between UK offices as required
