Managing Associate — Transition Finance, London

Senior finance role in London to help build a Transition Finance offering within an established finance platform. The role offers early responsibility, direct client exposure and opportunity to develop a visible market profile across corporate and project-level transition financings.

You will advise banks, debt funds, arrangers, sponsors and institutional investors on structuring and documenting complex financings (project finance, acquisition/leveraged finance, private credit and structured holdco financings) that support asset transition and decarbonisation. The role includes leading transactions day-to-day, coordinating cross-discipline and cross-border teams, and contributing to practice growth through pitches and market initiatives.

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE at a comparable City/top-tier firm.
• Strong technical debt finance skills — drafting and negotiating investment-grade/LMA-style documentation or equivalent.
• Proven experience on cross-border leveraged finance, project finance and/or structured holdco financings.
• Experience advising on financings for transition-enabling assets (e.g. renewables, retrofit, industrial decarbonisation, infrastructure).
• Commercial client-facing skills, appetite for business development and ability to mentor junior lawyers.
