Apply in confidence →Senior finance lawyer role focused on transition, sustainable and social finance within a market-facing London team. You will take day-to-day ownership of complex financings and help grow an international practice advising banks, debt funds, sponsors and institutional investors.
The role involves structuring and documenting acquisition finance, project finance, leveraged and structured holdco financings, private credit and government-backed structures where assets are transitioning rather than already green. Expect direct client contact, cross‑jurisdictional coordination and early responsibility for transactions and business development.
This is a formative position with visible progression opportunities and scope to build a recognised market profile through client work and practice development.
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE at a comparable City or national firm.
- Strong technical debt‑finance skills (drafting/negotiating investment‑grade/LMA-style documentation) and experience on cross‑border leveraged, project and structured financings.
- Experience advising on financings for transition‑enabling assets (e.g. renewables, energy transition, large‑scale retrofit, digital infrastructure, industrial decarbonisation, natural capital).
- Proven appetite for business development, client relationship origination and market‑facing activity, plus ability to mentor junior lawyers.
