Seeking a Counsel-level litigator to join a mass torts team focused on asbestos, talc, and product‑liability defense. The role involves handling all phases of complex litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice and trial preparation, with a high degree of case ownership.

The team works collaboratively across offices; the successful candidate will work closely with senior litigators, junior attorneys, paralegals and support staff to develop defense strategy and manage matters efficiently. The position may include remote or flexible arrangements and requires periodic travel for hearings, depositions and court appearances.

3–5 years' experience in toxic tort, talc, or product‑liability litigation
Licensed to practice in Illinois and in good standing
Strong written and oral advocacy, legal research, and motion practice skills
Demonstrated ability to manage assigned matters independently and to supervise junior team members
Willingness to travel periodically for court appearances, depositions and hearings
