Typical matters include medical malpractice litigation across specialties; day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery and pleadings, briefing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The position suits a self-starter who can manage multiple matters and work both independently and as part of a team.

Admitted to practice in Texas
2–7 years post-qualification litigation experience, preferably defending medical malpractice matters
Experience with state and federal court procedure and administrative hearings
Strong drafting, analytical and oral advocacy skills; comfortable with discovery, motion practice, and depositions
Ability to manage multiple files, work independently, and collaborate on team matters
