Apply in confidence →Seeking a mid-level associate (4–5 years' post-qualification) to join a busy executive compensation and employee benefits practice in the New York office of a leading international law firm. The role focuses on executive compensation and benefits issues arising in corporate transactions, restructurings and securities matters.
The team advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, funds, executives and creditors on compensation and benefit plans and arrangements, including governance, disclosure and tax-related compliance. The role requires strong drafting and analytical skills and substantive experience with public company disclosure and transaction-related compensation issues.
This position is expected to be office-based and candidates must be able to work in person and comply with firm employment policies.
- 4–5 years' relevant associate experience in executive compensation and employee benefits
- Experience on compensation matters in corporate transactions, restructurings and securities/public company disclosure
- Strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience
- Excellent drafting, analytical and client-facing skills; ability to work in person in the New York office
