Practice group seeks a mid-level associate to support technology licensing and IP-related aspects of corporate transactions. The role focuses on licensing, collaboration agreements, services agreements (including SaaS), distribution/OEM/reseller arrangements, and IP due diligence for M&A and other deals.

Ideal candidates will join a collaborative IP transactions team that works across corporate and technology practices, advising clients on commercialisation and strategic alliances involving software, life sciences and other tech-driven businesses. Experience with open-source licensing and AI-related IP issues is a strong plus.

Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and active bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
Several years’ experience in technology/IP licensing and technology transactions
Experience supporting IP and technology due diligence for M&A and corporate deals
Proven drafting and negotiation experience: joint development/collaboration agreements, licenses, SaaS and services agreements, and distribution/OEM/reseller contracts
Familiarity with open-source licenses and IP issues relating to artificial intelligence preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong academic credentials
