Mid-Level Associate, Private Equity Debt Finance — Boston

Mid-level associate role in a busy private equity debt finance group based in Boston. The team routinely represents private equity sponsors, banks and private credit lenders on term and revolving facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate growth financings.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating commitment letters, credit agreements and collateral/security documentation, and working closely with deal teams across practices to close complex financings. The group emphasizes collaboration, high-quality work product and commercial judgment.

• Several years of leveraged finance or debt finance experience at a law firm or comparable practice.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors and/or lenders on term and revolving facilities (LBOs, acquisition financings, growth financings).
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on commitment papers, credit agreements and collateral documents.
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
