Senior Associate — Leveraged Finance / Private Credit, Boston

Seeking a Senior Associate to join a national finance practice in Boston, focusing on leveraged finance and private credit. The role involves leading deal execution for sponsor-backed acquisition financings, multi-lender and unitranche structures, mezzanine and subordinated financings, and liability-management and amend-and-extend transactions.

You will work directly with lenders, private credit funds and counsel, take ownership of transactions from documentation through closing, and handle cross-border and multi-currency matters in a fast-paced environment. Strong opportunities for substantive borrower- and lender-side exposure and client-facing responsibility.

• 5–7 years post-qualification experience in leveraged finance or private credit
• Documenting and negotiating multi-lender/syndicated facilities, unitranche/first-out–last-out and senior/mezzanine structures
• Experience with liability-management, refinancings, amend-and-extend and intercreditor mechanics
• Comfort working directly with institutional lenders, private credit funds and sponsor counsel; strong drafting and deal-management skills
• Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and excellent communication/teamwork skills
