Mid-level associate role in a major Chicago corporate practice focused on M&A and private equity transactions. You will join a deal-oriented team advising private equity funds, institutional investors, family offices, alternative asset managers and portfolio companies across buyouts, add-ons, divestitures, growth investments and joint ventures.

Day-to-day work includes drafting and negotiating complex acquisition and investment agreements, leading portions of deal execution from due diligence through closing, managing client communications and participating as a core member of transaction teams. The team handles a range of deal sizes with an emphasis on middle-market matters.

3–6 years of corporate/M&A and private equity transactional experience
Proven drafting and negotiation experience on complex M&A and investment agreements
Track record of acting as a key member of deal teams, including leading client communications and running transaction workstreams
Experience across the full transaction lifecycle from due diligence to closing; middle‑market experience preferred
Active member of the Illinois bar
