Associate, Corporate (M&A/Private Equity)

Top-tier law firm is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join a national private equity and M&A practice. The role involves leading discrete transaction workstreams across the deal lifecycle, from diligence and document drafting to closing and post-closing support.

The position is open to candidates based in New York, Boston, Miami, Chicago or Dallas and offers significant client-facing responsibility, cross-functional collaboration with tax/finance/IP/benefits teams, and opportunities to supervise junior lawyers.

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Minimum 4 years of private equity and M&A transactional experience in a law firm or similarly sophisticated environment
• Proven ability to run substantial components of transactions from early stages through closing
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; comfort interacting directly with clients and deal teams
• Bar admission in the relevant practicing jurisdiction
