Corporate Associate (M&A/Private Equity)

A leading global law firm is seeking corporate associates with at least four years of experience to join its sophisticated private equity M&A practice. The position is open across multiple major U.S. markets.

As a member of this team, you will take meaningful ownership of transaction workstreams from deal inception through closing and help deliver outstanding client service. You will work on complex, fast-moving transactions for financial sponsors and strategic buyers and sellers.

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• At least 4 years of private equity and M&A experience, preferably in a large or similarly sophisticated law firm environment.
• Demonstrated ability to run substantial components of transactions from early stages through closing.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with comfort interacting directly with clients and deal teams.
• Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience advising financial sponsors and/or strategic buyers/sellers is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment.
