Growing real estate practice in Miami seeks a mid-level land use associate with 3–5 years' experience handling zoning and land use matters. The role involves managing matters such as site plan approvals, variances, special exceptions, rezoning and comprehensive plan amendments.

Successful candidates will have strong drafting, research and advocacy skills, experience appearing before local boards and municipal bodies, and the ability to read and interpret architectural and site plans. Familiarity with South Florida jurisdictions is required; experience with historic preservation and environmental issues in the land use context is a plus.

Applicants must be admitted to practice in Florida and demonstrate excellent academic credentials and communication skills.

3–5 years' experience in land use / zoning practice
Admitted to practice in Florida
Experience with site plan approvals, variances, rezoning and comprehensive plan amendments
Proven drafting, research and advocacy skills; comfortable appearing before local boards and municipal bodies
Ability to read and interpret architectural and site plans
Familiarity with South Florida jurisdictions; historic preservation and environmental experience preferred
