Growing private investment funds team seeks a mid-to-senior level associate to join its Los Angeles office. The role focuses on fund formation and lifecycle work for domestic and cross-border venture capital and private equity funds.

Work will include structuring and operational matters for alternative investment vehicles, and transactional support on financings, acquisitions and other investee-company matters. The team offers a collaborative, cross-practice environment with exposure to sophisticated fund sponsors and investors.

4-6 years post-qualification experience in private investment funds or related transactional practice
Demonstrated experience forming and operating venture capital and private equity funds, including fund structuring and documentation
Transactional experience on financings, acquisitions and alternative investment structures
Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and to manage substantial components of matters independently
Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
