Top-tier international law firm seeks a midlevel transactional antitrust associate to join its Antitrust & Competition practice. The role is open to candidates for the New York or Washington, D.C. offices and will support complex deal work and merger clearance matters.

Work will focus on HSR filings, deal counseling and contract negotiation, dataroom management, and managing merger investigations (including Second Request processes) before U.S. enforcement agencies. The team also handles merger control and foreign investment reviews; experience across transactional and compliance matters is valued.

2–5 years of transactional antitrust experience (law firm or U.S. agency experience preferred)
Practical experience with HSR filings, Second Request procedures, merger investigations, and deal counseling
Some exposure to merger control and foreign direct investment review
Strong research and writing skills, excellent academics, and ability to manage multiple matters
Membership in the New York or District of Columbia bar required
