A national legal team is recruiting an NQ Solicitor to join its Major Injury & Casualty group, handling a varied caseload of Employers Liability, Public Liability and Motor claims. The role sits within an insurance litigation practice that manages both lower-value Sheriff Court matters and more complex litigated files.

The position offers a hybrid working pattern with the option to be office-based in Scotland (Glasgow or Edinburgh) alongside homeworking. The team provides structured support and training to develop technical litigation skills and commercial awareness.

Scottish-qualified solicitor, newly qualified (NQ)
Practical experience managing EL, PL and Motor claims and running own pre‑litigation and Sheriff Court files
Background in insurance litigation (essential)
Strong litigation drafting, advocacy support and case management skills
Good negotiation, communication and client‑management abilities; able to prioritise and work to service standards
