Of Counsel — Employment & Labor (Philadelphia)

Established national employment defense practice seeks an Of Counsel to join its Philadelphia team focused on defending employers in complex employment litigation, including wage-and-hour collective/class actions and discrimination claims. The role combines litigation, agency defense, counseling and training for employer clients.

The position will regularly involve courtroom and administrative hearings, mediations and arbitrations, as well as advising clients on prevention and compliance strategies. The team handles high-volume defense matters and provides practical, business-oriented counseling to HR and in-house teams.

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• 8+ years of litigation experience defending class/collective actions and other employment claims
• Admission to the Pennsylvania bar and in good standing
• Experience as lead counsel in employment litigation; comfort in court, agency proceedings, mediations and arbitrations
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and project-management skills; knowledge of state and federal employment agency enforcement practices
