The role supports clients on federal and state workplace safety and health compliance, handles OSHA-related litigation, and provides crisis-response and training support.
Day-to-day responsibilities include advising business partners on EH&S compliance, managing outside counsel and vendors on safety matters, developing relations with regulators, representing clients in negotiations and mediations, and contributing to programmatic risk-reduction initiatives.
This is a hybrid-role with firm-wide mobility across U.S. offices and collaborative team structures; candidates should be prepared to work on multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- 3+ years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required
- Admission to practice in the state of the associate’s primary office
- Strong written and oral communication, project-management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage outside counsel/vendors
