Partner, Bankruptcy & Restructuring — Portland

Join a global law firm’s Portland office as a partner in the Bankruptcy & Restructuring team. The role focuses on representing creditors, distressed-debt holders and other stakeholders in complex insolvency and workout matters across state and federal bankruptcy courts.

The team handles a spectrum of restructuring matters, including creditor-side enforcement, debtor restructurings and distressed-asset transactions. This is an opportunity to lead engagements, develop business and work alongside an experienced cross‑practice platform.

Qualified candidates with an established restructuring practice — including a portable client base or proven business-development track record — are encouraged to apply.

• Established partner or equivalent experience in bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights.
• Proven experience with distressed-debt work, workouts and bankruptcy litigation.
• Track record of originating or managing client relationships; ability to grow a portable practice preferred.
• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills; comfort working across finance and restructuring teams.
